Had such a lovely experience at Warmth and Wonder. Have had minimal experience with saunas, but the scenery was stunning, the wildflowers were beautiful and Matt was really warm and welcoming (no pun intended). Even enjoyed trying the spring-fed plunge pool! Great experience - would highly recommend.

This was our fourth visit and, as ever, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Barn. Having the wood burner already laid for us on our arrival was a lovely touch given the January weather. Comfortable, quiet and beautiful. We urge guests to pursue some of the recommended eateries - we would never have found Sensory & Rye in Hereford otherwise. Thank you - lovely stay

Fantastic sauna experience at the foot of the Black Mountains. The sauna at warmth and wonder will get you back in touch with nature and the elements no matter the weather. It is in such an awe-inspiring location that leaves you inspired and rejuvenated for days afterwards.

We've had a wonderful stay in The Barn. A warm welcome, the interior with all the nice details, the books and maps, the views, the quietness, the multitude of stars and glorious weather, what else do you need for a relaxing holiday? We would have stayed so much longer than the 17 days we've lived on this fabulous spot. We wish all visitors the same lovely experience as we had.

We had a wonderful two weeks at Warmth and Wonder. Everything is set up to be as welcoming as possible. The Barn with its surrounding spaces and superb views gives a great sense of relaxation and freedom. Outside we had lovely meals sat on the verandah and around a fire and inside the sofas provided a very comfortable and convivial family space. The surrounding area that we know and love is beautiful and perfect for interesting walks, visits to ancient churches, contrasted with Hay’s bookshops and Hereford cathedral and, for us this year, the Three Choirs Festival.

Warmth and Wonder at Garn Farm is a wonderful place to stay, very peaceful, very unspoilt, and tremendous views. The accommodation is perfect and cosy being in a lovely old barn, the hosts Matt and Polly are very friendly and helpful and they went 'above and beyond' for us when we had a medical issue. The local village is lovely with great pubs and shop within 5 minutes drive. The grounds are great for nature and Matt and Polly have made paths so you can wander around the woods - but some of the paths are steep. We definitely want...

We could not have wished for a more peaceful week in your very comfortable and warm barn. It’s a true slice of paradise, and we do hope to return in the not too distant future. It’s been a magical stay…

What a magical place! We really were whisked away from our stressful city life to a rural dream. From the minute you arrive, it feels so special, beautifully built and decorated with every sensitivity for privacy and relaxation. A place that time forgot which transports you to a simpler world. We found ourselves reading out loud in front of the fire, devices long forgotten. The children took themselves off for their own adventures while we napped. Cups of tea, cake, marshmallows and warm baths followed jaunty walks, exciting adventures and wild swimming. The views, sights and sounds and simplicity of...

A perfect place to unwind; hidden in the countryside surrounded by birds, trees, fields and flowers. A real rest for the soul! The barn has everything one needs and the spring water is delicious! The wood burning stove is also a delight and works really well.

Our second stay at Warmth and Wonder and just as brilliant as the first. Matt made the barn cosy for our arrival late at night with two sleepy children and we woke up to the perfect peace that surrounds this beautiful place. The children played for hours outside on their hammock swing, we trekked up mountains and we visited many castles. Fish and chips in Ewyas Harold, a game of skittles in the local pub and dinner one night in Abergavenny made this such a happy holiday. The barn is equipped with everything you need, it’s spotlessly clean and well...

Set in a beautiful rural landscape a million miles away from the stress and strain of most people’s lives is a barn with a huge log burner and everything needed for a cozy break. There’s plenty of space and it’s very comfortable. We were prepared to get wet and muddy knowing we’d end up back at Garn Farm at the end of the day. There are still pubs here, most serving good food and the walks can be simple or challenging. Great afternoon playing some of the many games provided and the kitchen area is a great space to prepare...
